| Accelerator DETU |

Akrochem Accelerator DETU is a non-discoloring, non-staining thiourea for high temperature curing of mercaptan-modified polychloroprenes, EPDM and CIIR.
It is used by itself or in combination with an Akrosperse ETU-22 dispersion for continuous curing of solid and cellular extruded goods. (e.g. car door and boot seals cured at 180'-250'C. in fluidized beds or molten salt baths) and in hot air cures.
DETU is faster curing than ETU and has also been found to act as a retarder in clay-loaded peroxide-cured stocks. |
