This chloroprene processing aid lowers viscosity during processing without lowering the durometer of the cured stock and without any significant affect on rate of cure.
It greatly improves shelf aging of the uncured chloroprene and improves scorch resistance.
Most effective in sulfur-modified (S”or“G”types)polychloroprenes.
When used in mercapto-modified polychloroprenes (M”or“W”types), Peptizer E-19204 helps prevent crystallization and permanent set is also improved.
Recommended loading is 0.5 - 2.0 phr in polychloroprene. |
