A non-discoloring retarding agent to reduce scorching of rubber compounds at processing temperatures.
Effective with most accelerator systems and most types of rubber.
Use from 0.5 to 1.0% on rubber hydrocarbon.
Has little or no retarding effect at curing temperatures and no significant effect on physical properties of cured stock.
Has no effect on plasticity and aging and does not bloom with recommended amounts.
Acts as an activator for certain blowing agents. |

Odor : Practically none
Specific Gravity: 1.45 - 1.51
Fineness (dry method): 1.0% max. retained (100 mesh), 15.0% max. retained (200 mesh)
Moisture: 0.5% max.
Ash: 0.5% max.
Melting Range: 123 - 132'C
Solubility: Soluble in alcohol, benzene, and acetone., Slightly soluble in water.
Storage Stability: Excellent
Toxicity: Not considered hazardous for normal industrial use. |
