Add directly to rubber to retard scorching at mixing and processing temperatures.
Disperses readily.
Non-staining in white and light colored compounds.
Activates slightly at curing temperatures.
No detrimental effect on cured physical properties.
Acts as an activator for certain blowing agents.
Serves as a processing aid with certain cis-polybutadiene rubbers.
RETARDER BAX, which is oil treated Benzoic Acid, is available where a non-dusting, finer particle size product is desired. |
