W-10003 Resin is a thermoplastic terpene-phenolic resin emulsion provided in an aqueous system.
This emulsion is analogous to P-03 Resin, which is a tackifying resin provided to the contact adhesive market.
This system has been specially formulated to be compatible with high pH polychloroprene latices.
Compatibility with other elastomer latices can be determined by slowly adding the resin to the latex.
The most important influence on whether systems are compatible is pH.
The primary use of W-10003 Resin is for the enhancement of tack in aqueous systems.
