SEM 1200 is a high solids, water-based lubricant specifically formulated as a green tire lubricant and does not require dilution.
This low viscosity lubricant provides excellent performance for most tire curing applications, especially for intricately shaped tread designs.
SEM 1200 contains mica which provides excellent air bleed properties and prolongs bladder life.
SEM 1200 is a ready-to-use tire lubricant and does not require dilution.
It can be applied by dipping, spraying, wiping or a recirculating system.
Although SEM 1200 is formulated with minimal settling properties during storage, it should be agitated prior to application.
This lubricating system has been utilized in radial, crossply, agricultural and off-road tires.
Typical application rates vary from 10-20 grams per tire, obviously depending on the size the tire.
The components of SEM 1200 are considered to be non-toxic and physiologically inert.
However, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and inhalation of spray mist should be prevented.
