| PROAID AC134 |

Akrochem’s Proaid AC-134 is a mixture of zinc salts of high molecular weight fatty acids esters and fatty acid soaps.
It is used as a processing aid for natural and synthetic rubber. As an internal lubricant, it gives the appearance of peptizing natural rubber although polymer chains are not broken.
Provides good mill release in epichlorohydrin materials.
Effective flow promoter with injection molded nitrile stocks.
The dosage for Proaid AC-134 is 2 to 5 phr, depending on the polymer and the process.
Proaid AC-134 may be used:
- To obtain lower power consumption during the mixing cycle
- To obtain lower dumping temperature
- To obtain lower Mooney viscosity in combination with chemical peptizers
- To improve vulcanization uniformity
- To improve filler dispersion in dry compounds |
