Plasticizer OT is a synthetic ether-thioether plasticizer combining excellent low temperature properties with good hot air resistance in natural and synthetic elastomers.
Plasticizer OT also improves electrical conductivity without affected most cure systems.
Plasticizer OT is used for technical goods where a combination of low temperature flexibility and heat aging requirements are important.
Typical goods include, but are not limited to automotive, aircraft and mechanical engineering seals, hoses and dampening components.
Typical loadings are in the range of 5 - 30 phr.
This plasticizer is easily dispersed into natural and synthetic rubber formulations and acts as a dispersing agent and viscosity reducer, improves building tack and extrudability of compounds.
Maximum recommended loadings (phr) in the following elastomers are: NR - 30, SBR - 30, IIR - 10, CR - 15, NBR - 30. |
