ELASTOMAG 60 Magnesium Oxide

Elastomag 60 magnesium oxide is derived from a high purity basic magnesium carbonate.
In addition to closely controlled purity, the activity is maintained at a strict uniform level through sophisticated process instrumentation and rigid quality control.
The activity of Elastomag 60 (60 on the Morton Activity Index) is measured by the milligrams of iodine absorbed per gram of oxide.
Typical rubber uses of the lower activity magnesium oxides are as acid acceptors in certain fluoroelastomer cures and as retarders in halobutyls.
