PARAPOL is a chemically stable, non-drying liquid and does not form a residue when it is volatilized or thermally decomposed at sufficiently high temperatures.
PARAPOL is colorless, resistant to oxidation, impermeable to water vapor and gases and is hydrophobic.
PARAPOL imparts increased tackiness to a variety of materials with increased molecular weight.
PARAPOL is non-toxic and requires no special handling if used as directed.
Several PARAPOL grades are approved for use in indirect food additive application as outlined in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration 21 CFR Section 177.1430. |
