Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer
UL 05540 CC is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate.
The polymer is stabilised with antioxidants.
UL 05540 CC is typically used in :
-Adhesive applications
-Compounds for wire and cable coating
Do not overheat the polymer during processing. Temperatures in excess of 200'C should be avoided, especially when maintained for very significant periods of time.
Before shutdown of the processing equipment, it is recommended either to purge with low density polyethylene or to clean in an appropriate manner.
