SYLFAT K |
Phosphorylated Fatty Acid |
SYLFAT K is a phosphorylated fatty acid made from a high-quality fatty acid. This clear, yellow, slightly viscous liquid is recommended as a dispersant of pigments used in polyolefin-based plastics. SYLFAT K is not only a good pigment dispersant, but its ability to act as an antioxidant provides the added benefit of anti-yellowing in resins. SYLFAT K should be evaluated as an antioxidant in other systems, due to its unique structure. SYLFAT K should also be evaluated as a dispersant of pigments in printing ink formulations or road-marking paints. An added benefit of SYLFAT K is that it can be derivatized through either the residual carboxyl group or the phosphorous-to-oxygen double bond to form unique phosphorous-containing compounds. |
