NPG glycol (neopentyl glycol or 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol) is a highly reactive, yet thermally stable, chemical intermediate.
NPG glycol is a hygroscopic material and can absorb significant quantities of moisture.
For this reason, NPG glycol platelets should be stored in a dry environment in its original unopened container.
NPG glycol platelets are packaged in 50-lb and 20-kg net weight multi-wall bags, or in 1000-kg and 500-kg bulk bags.
