ERISYS EMRA-95 is a high viscosity, Bisphenol A epoxy resin modified butadeine-acrylonitrile elastomer. Based on a solid CTBN elastomer, ERISYS EMRA-95 combines epoxy functionality with toughness and impact resistance. Unlike modifications made with liquid rubber elastomers, ERISYS EMRA-95 exhibits higher temperature performance and greater green strength, making it ideal for film adhesives possessing greater creep resistance over higher temperatures than resins based on liquid elastomers. ERISYS EMRA-95 is excellent for 100% solids adhesives, composites, and coatings. Blends of ERISYS EMRA-95 with most standard epoxy resins are possible and it can be cured with all standard curing agents suitable for epoxy resins. Cure speed is comparable to standard liquid Bisphenol A epoxy resins. * APPLICATIONS - High Temperature Encapsulants / Adhesives - Prepregs and Composites - Impact Resistance Coatings - Toughener for Epoxy Novolacs |
