Benzoflex 9-88 is a high solvating general-purpose plasticizer that has been used for many years in a wide variety of applications.
Its diverse uses include resilient flooring, adhesives artificial leathercloth and caulk.
While Benzoflex 9-88 remains an excellent plasticizer, recent developments such as Benzoflex 2088 and Benzoflex 2160 allow compounds to formulate with a high solvating plasticizer with lower VOC content and while controlling rheology.

Vapor Density: 11.8 (Air = 1)
Evaporation rate: Lower than 1. compared to Butyl acetate.
Viscosity: Approximately 110 cP @ 250 'C
Solubility: 8.96 mg/l for Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate component. Dipropylene glycol monobenzoate is significantly soluble relative to the dibenzoate. |
