ERISYS GE-12 is the glycidyl ether of Nonyl phenol. Used as a reactive diluent, ERISYS GE-12 is compatible with all epoxy resins. Resin/diluent blends can be cured with most conventional amine, anhydride or catalytic curing agents. As an aromatic epoxide, GE-12 will not adversely affect cure speed and can improve mechanical properties compared to resins containing aliphatic diluents. Because of its aliphatic and aromatic character, ERISYS GE-12 is an excellent compatibilizer for epoxy resins and aliphatic curing agents, reducing mixing time and blushing problems.
