EFKA-1500 is a dispersing resin tailor-made for the production of both aqueous-based and solventborne resin minimal pigment concentrates.
EFKA-1500 shows good pigment wetting and stabilizing performance and has excellent compatibility with resins commonly used in waterborne and solventborne coatings.
Due to its primary hydroxyl groups, EFKA-1500 is able to crosslink with amino resins.
Complete water-solubility will be obtained by addition of 7.5% of AMP 90.
EFKA-1500 has been especially developed as a grinding vehicle for use in both waterborne and solventborne resin minimal pigment concentrates.
It is normally used in combination with EFKA polymeric dispersants.
