EFKA-1501 is a dispersing resin tailor-made for the production of aqueous-based resin minimal pigment concentrates.
EFKA-1501 shows a good pigment wetting and stabilizing performance and excellent compatibility with the resins most commonly used in waterborne coatings.
Due to its primary hydroxyl groups EFKA-1501 is able to crosslink with amino or polyisocyanate resins.
Complete water-solubility will be obtained by addition of e.g. 8% AMP 90.
EFKA-1501 is recommended as a grinding vehicle for use in combination with EFKA-4520 or EFKA-4530. (See our guide formulations on resin minimal pigment concentrates) |
