Silicone-free defoamer to prevent foam formation during production, filling, and application of solvent-based and solvent-free coatings.
BYK 057 displays spontaneous defoaming properties and demonstrates no negative influence on intercoat adhesion when overcoated BYK 057 is designed for use in unsaturated polyesters, acrylic/vinylacetate-combinations and oil-free polyesters.
Additionally, BYK 057 acts as an air release and levelling additive.
BYK 057 is not available in the North American market.
Please use BYK A 501 instead. |
