EFKA-3835 is an isocyanate-terminated polysiloxane designed to crosslink with hydroxyl- or carboxyl groups, in order to give permanent slip and anti-blocking performance.
It is compatible with most polyisocyanates e.g. Desmodur N, L, IL, HL and similar products.
EFKA-3835 exhibits diminished compatibility with polyisocyanates like Desmodur® N 3390.
* Application:
EFKA-3835 is a cross-linking additive for all kinds of polyurethane coatings.
It should be added to the hardener (polyisocyanate solution).
Compared with common organically modified polysiloxanes such as our 3000 series, EFKA-3835 reacts to form part of the film and gives long-term slip and anti blocking properties.
EFKA-3835 results in higher slip and anti-blocking performance compared with EFKA-3886 and EFKA-3888. |
