EFKA-4500 stabilizes the pigment dispersion of difficult inorganic and organic pigments and improves the following properties:
-gloss
-color strength
-flocculation stability
-anti-flooding behavior
EFKA-4500 has self-emulsifying properties, but due to the nature of the molecular structure, there is minimal effect on water-resistance.
This is because EFKA-4500 is itself not water soluble.
Primary hydroxyl groups enable EFKA-4500 to crosslink with amino resins under stoving conditions, thus losing all hydrophilic character.

EFKA-4500 is recommended for use in all kinds of high quality waterborne industrial coatings. |
