EFKA-5070 helps to prevent interfacial tension between the hydrophilic pigments/extenders and the binder.
Due to its wide compatibility and the combination with a polysiloxane, the following advantages can be achieved:
-reduced dispersion time and stabilization of the pigment dispersion
-prevention of flooding and floating
-reduced pigment sedimentation
-reduced tendency to 'orange-peel'
-improved gloss and leveling
* Application:
EFKA-5070 is especially suitable to stabilize all kinds of pigments and is applied in solventborne industrial coatings like:
-alkyd/amino resin combinations
-acrylic polyisocyanate systems
-nitro-cellulose systems
-polyurethane- and chlorinated polymer systems |
