EFKA-6220 stabilizes inorganic and organic pigments in water and solvents.
In addition it makes the polar ingredients of universal colorants which are used in non-polar solventborne paints more compatible.
This results in:
-maximum color development of the colorant
-higher pigment loading
-optimum color acceptance of the colorants in the base-paints
* Applications:
-EFKA-6220 in combination with EFKA-4560 and/or EFKA-1503 is suitable for the formulation of universal colorants for decorative paints
-when using universal colorants in decorative paints, the addition of EFKA-6220 to the base paints (water and solvent) can increase compatibility and color acceptance
-EFKA-6220 is an activator for Bentonites as well as for associated and acrylic thickeners |
