Phosflex 318 is a proprietary low color blend, primarily for use as a flame retardant plasticizer in flexible
PVC applications. Using Phosflex 318 either as the sole plasticizer or as a partial substitution of a non-FR
plasticizer can substantially enhance the composite’s flame resistance. Compounds prepared with this
plasticizer also evolve lower levels of smoke than materials containing typical phthalate ester plasticizers.
Its high solvating ability can reduce processing times. |
