BYK-347 provides strong reduction in surface tension which leads to excellent substrate wetting and levelling.
It does not increase surface slip and does not impair recoatability.
If higher surface slip is required, the additional usage of BYK-307 or BYK-333 is recommended. If also the overspray acceptance shall be improved with silicone surfactants, a combination of BYK-347 with BYK-345 is recommended.
The additive might cause a slight foam stabilization in the coatings system.
The additive exhibits long-term stability when used in coatings systems with pH ranges of 4 - 10. |
