Reactive silicone intermediate for upgrading the weatherability of acrylic emulsions.
Should work equally well with other emulsion systems that are stable at an alkaline pH.
Coatings prepared from emulsion polymers modified with Dow Corning QP8-5314 Intermediate exhibit improved outdoor weatherability resulting in improved chalk resistance, color retention and gloss retention.
