Mackernium C-14S is a cationic guar gum polymer that provides the dual benefits of conditioning and thickening properties for hair and skin care products.
This polymer is derived from guar beans, a natural, renewable, vegetable source and it as a high molecular weight.
It is a moderately substituted cationic polymer that is substantive to positively charged surfaces such as skin and hair.
This grade of cationic guar is pre- neutralized and is thus ready for the hydration step without an initial pH adjustment with acid, making it more convenient to use. |
