Synpro Calcium Stearate 114-40 Lubricant is manufactured for those applications demanding a superior quality, clear melting grade of Calcium Stearate.
The polyolefin industry, in particular, is characterized by such applications.
By use of Type 114-40, build-up on extruder screen packs is minimized, resulting in longer runs and reduced down time.
Type 114-40 is a denser grade of calcium stearate than Type 114-36.
Synpro Calcium Stearate 114-40 may be safely used as stabilizers in polymers used in the manufacturing of components intended for holding food: according to the Food and Drug Administration's Code of Federal Regulations under Title 21, Parts 177.2600 and 178.2010.
