BISMET is recommended for SBR, NR, IR and BR compounds that are high temperature cured. Cure systems based on BISMET allow a high production rate. Usually used as a secondary accelerator at 0.1 to 0.3 parts per 100 phr with a thiazole or sulfenamide accelerator. Can also be used as the primary accelerator at 0.3 to 1 100 phr. |
