Dow Corning MB25-504 Masterbatch is a pelletized formulation containing 25% of a functionalized high molecular weight siloxane polymer.
It is designed to be used as additive in resin compatible systems to improve processing modify surface characteristics.
Silicone-based plastic additive have been used in the plastics industry for several years to improve the mold release and flow of themoplastics.
They are effective in this role, although until now some difficulties have been experienced in the accurate incorporation of low-viscosity liquids into themoplastic melts without use of specialized equipment.
Appearance: Off- white pellets.
Siloxane content: 25%
Organic resin: high impact polystyrene, MI4
Suggested use level: 0.4 to 20 %
