SLA 1614 |
|
SLA 1614 is a concentrated dispersion of PTFE in a highly refined petroleum oil. Compared to ordinary PTFE dispersions, it is exceptionally stable at room temperature. Its translucent color makes SLA 1614 desirable for applications where use of other dark colored solid lubricants would be objectionable. SLA 1614 demonstrates significant reduction of friction and improves the extreme pressure, load carrying, and anti-wear properties of lubricants. This results in energy savings, smoother operation, extended life, and reduced maintenance costs of the object being lubricated. The PTFE prevents surface- to-surface contact and scuffing while providing reliable lubrication under boundary conditions. |
