This is one of a series of Acheson resin-bonded lubricant coatings designed to provide dry film lubrication and release properties in a variety of industrial and original equipment automotive applications.
Emralon TW-020 is especially well suited to protect EDPM rubber from glass abrasion in automotive window channel applications.
It also provides ice release characteristics when incorporated on primary door seals.
Emralon TW-020 is found to be an effective product in applications requiring squeak suppression.
This product is formulated to eliminate the need for primers on most substrates.
Using a primer will improve adhesion.
Emralon TW-020 is a two-component, water-based, resin-bonded, fluoropolymer coating designed to be applied to hot rubber.
It cures in 10+ minutes when applied to 225'-275'F (107'-135'C) rubber.
The cured coating is black in appearance, flexible, excellent in wear resistance, and not abrasive to painted surfaces. |
