Electrodag +503 is a specially designed product intended for use as a counter electrode silver paint for solid tantalum capacitors in high temperature applications.
To aid the capacitor industry, it is available in a solids range of from 40 to 62 percent.
This range will provide optimum viscosity selection for manufacturing processes.
The introduction of this product opens up new markets to the solid tantalum capacitor manufacturer because it allows device operation at higher temperatures without the need for derating of the component.
A newly developed resin system, coupled with special selection of treated silver, provides operating parameters not previously available.
An air dry system without the need for bake-out and the ability to be soldered without flux in combination with low loss design, make Electrodag +503 the most desirable terminating silver coating.
