When used in combination with Bonding Agent M3-P or other methylene donors, Bonding Agent R-6 acts as a resorcinol donor to improve adhesion of rubber compounds to cotton, rayon, nylon, Kevlar and glass.
It improves the adhesion to wire when used in combination with Vulklor in tire compounds.
Used in carcass compounds to obtain significant adhesion improvements when using Latex treated cords.
Used in radial tires, in combination with Vulklor, to obtain excellent adhesion to wire. |

MELTING RANGE: 81-99°C (178-210°F)
SOLUBILITY: Soluble in acetone and methyl ethyl ketone.
Slightly soluble in water. Insoluble in toluene and n-hexane. |
