Disperse-Ayd 9 is particularly effective when used in conjunction with other pigment dispersants, like Disperse-Ayd XL 1/80, in the manufacture of pigment dispersions and "universal" colorants.
It can improve color development and dispersion stability as well as eliminate the flooding and floating commonly experienced with these dispersions.
It is most effective with iron oxide pigments.
Typical use level is 4-6% based on total dispersion weight. |
