amino-functional silane |
|
KH-540 (equal to KBM903, A-1110) is an amino-functional silane that may be used over a broad range of applications to give an improvement in the bond between a substrate, filler or reinforcement and resins that react with the amino group. * Application: -Improves physical and wet electrical properties, including dry & wet flexure, compression set, etc. in mineral-filled (like silica, clay, metal, tale etc.) pherolics, elastomer, epoxy, PBT, ployamide, carbonates etc., and enhances the dispersion and wettability of filler. -Excellent adhesion promoter in polyurethane, epoxy, phenolic adhesives and sealants. -Increases moisture proofness and physical properties of glass wool and glass reinforced plastics in phenolics etc. -Differences between KH-540 & KH-550: KH-540 is a fast silane and suitable for use in some special polymer system as a coupling agent. |
