Barabuf |
|
BARABUF, an alkaline material, is used as a pH buffer in fresh water, brines, and brine polymer systems. *Applications/Functions: BARABUF can be used to increase the pH of aqueous systems up to 10. *Advantages: - BARABUF is safer and more suitable than caustic soda for controlling pH in polymer systems. Note: Caustic soda generates excessive gels and causes foaming. Soda ash and sodium bicarbonate should not be used in systems containing BARAVIS . - BARABUF is more effective per solubilized unit than caustic soda. - BARABUF does not cause precipitates to form when added to calcium or magnesium brines. |
