Bararesin
BARARESIN is an oil-soluble, petroleum hydrocarbon resin used instead of calcium carbonate or salt for temporarily sealing acid or water sensitive payzones.
BARARESIN is available in four grades: Fine, Medium, Coarse, and Granule.
Particle sizes of the four grades are shown below.
*Applications/Functions:
- BARARESIN Fine may be used instead of clays to provide wall cake buildup in brine based fluids.
- BARARESIN Fine, Medium, Coarse, and Granule may be used as oil soluble bridging agents to prevent loss of fluid to the payzone.
*Advantages: Completely oil-soluble in most crude oils, condensates, or diesel oils, Minimizes seepage loss into the payzone, Chemically inert, Non-hazardous.
