BXR L
BXR-L is sulfonated asphalt and hydrocarbon resin (asphaltite) dispersed in glycerol, polyglycerols, and polypropylene glycol.
BXR-L is a blended hydrocarbon suspension used as a shale stabilizer, lubricity modifier, and fluid loss additive.
It can be used as an additive to any water-based drilling fluid to improve filtration and hole stabilization characteristics.
*Applications/Functions: Bridge microfractures and permeable zones, Reduce the potential for differential sticking and torque/drag occurrences, Stabilize wellbores
*Advantages: Applicable in all water-based drilling fluids, Stable at temperatures above 400'F (205'C), Improves dynamic and static fluid loss properties, Environmentally responsible
