CAT-LO, modified cellulosic polymer, provides filtration control in CAT-I cationic water-based drilling fluids.
Because of its molecular weight, it provides good filtrate control and only small increases in mud viscosity with normal use.
CAT-LO is recommended for use in wells where bottomhole temperatures do not exceed 250'F(121'C).
CAT-LO is not affected by the presence of calcium or magnesium at moderate pH levels because of its nonionic character.
