Drilfoam
DRILFOAM, a blend of sulfated ethoxylated alcohols, is a biodegradable liquid mixture of anionic surfactants.
DRILFOAM contains no phosphates.
*Applications/Functions: Improve the carrying capacity of air through its foaming mechanism, Reduce hydrostatic head when drilling with water or water-based drilling fluids, Suppress dust in dry air-drilling.
*Advantages: Maximizes penetration rates by improving hole cleaning capabilities, Helps prevent lost circulation in blind zones, Contains no phosphates, Reduces makeup water and compressor-volume requirements, Requires minimum concentrations to produce large quantities of foam, Produces a consistent foam, Can be added to fresh, hard, or salt water.
