EP MUDLUBE, modified tall oil fatty acid, can be used to impart extreme pressure lubricating properties to drilling fluids.
EP MUDLUBE readily adsorbs on exposed surfaces, providing a chemical film that is effective in reducing metal-to-metal friction.
*Applications/Functions: Increase extreme-pressure lubricating properties of drilling fluids, Reduce wear of metal parts, Reduce torque problems in high angle, horizontal drilling situations, Provide lubrication during high stress situations (i.e. higher than normal weight on bit and drillpipe rotational speeds)
