THV 340C is a flexible, transparent fluoroplastic composed of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, and vinylidene fluoride in the form of a concentrated water-based dispersion containing an ionic emulsifier.
It provides a balance of low temperature processing, low flammability, thermal stability, and melt processability.
It is designed for coating heat sensitive substrates such as polyester fabrics with its lower fusion temperature and high melt flow index to improve penetration and reflow.
It provides a good balance of flexibility, weatherability, chemical resistance, and anti-soiling properties in a water-based formulation.
No plasticizers are added to achieve flexibility.
It is useful for applications requiring premium performance and flexibility in various fabric composites. |
