Ti-Pure R-700 is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment manufactured by the chloride process for use in very high gloss interior coatings applications.
Its very low oil absorption and narrow particle size distribution result in its high gloss potential.
Ti-Pure R-700 is a fine dry powder with the following properties.
*Use: Ti-Pure R-700 is a pigment with excellent gloss, high hiding, and very good dispersion.
Ti-Pure R-700 is recommended for use in:
- interior gloss and semigloss architectural coatings
- interior high reflectance white coil coatings
- appliance and metal furniture coatings
- powder coatings
- other interior industrial OEM and specialty coatings
Ti-Pure R-700 is preferred over R-900 for interior acid catalyzed industrial coatings because its neutral pH and low level of surface treatment provide excellent cure.
The blue undertone of Ti-Pure R-700 allows for clean tints and bright colors. |
