Base 76 |

Sulfonate-Nonionic |
|
BASE 76 is a sodium sulfate-no soap emulsifier base used for the production of soluble oils and emulsion cleaners. Non-ionic emulsifiers are formulated into BASE 76 to insure soluble oils produced with BASE 76 yield outstanding stability and wetting properties. BASE 76 is used in combination with naphthenic mineral oils to produce soluble oils. BASE 76 is typically employed at a level of 15 ?22%. The balance of the product will be determined by the end users requirements. Soluble oil components will include naphthenic mineral oil, and may include lubricity additives, extreme pressure agents and biocides. An addition of an alkalinity source (amine or caustic) or a fatty acid may be necessary to insure a product with optimum concentrate and emulsion stability. Ferro’s technical representatives are available to provide formulating assistance. |
