Base 79 |
|
BASE 79 is an amine-free, sodium sulfonate-moderate soap emulsifier base used for the production of soluble oils and emulsion cleaners. Soluble oils produced with BASE 79 yield outstanding stability and wetting properties. BASE 79, an amine free emulsifier base, is used in combination with naphthenic mineral oils to produce soluble oils. BASE 79 is typically employed at a level of 15 ?22%. The balance of the product will be determined by the end users requirements. Soluble oil components will include naphthenic mineral oil, and may include lubricity additives, extreme pressure agents and biocides. An addition of an alkalinity source (potassium or sodium hydroxide) or a fatty acid may be necessary to insure a product with optimum concentrate and emulsion stability. Ferro’s technical representatives are available to provide formulating assistance. |
