GEMACIDE KC-Mod is used in prevention of slime formation caused by bacteria, yeast and mold.
It is completely effective in preventing the growth of both bacteria and fungi known to degrade water based products in the wet state.
Such degradation can take the form of viscosity loss, malodour, gassing and the general breakdown of the product: additionally unwanted microbiological growth may be visible particularly on the surface product.
GEMACIDE KC-Mod is recommended for the wet state microbiological protection of most aqueous compositions including paints, adhesives, cellulose solutions, polymer emulsions, fillers, metal working fluids, inks, etc. |
