Proprietary halogen-free, phosphorus-based flame retardant.
* Application:
NcendX P-30 flame retardant provides a halogen-free solution for flame retarding PC/ABS, PPO/HIPS and other polymers. Additional applications development work is ongoing at Albemarle’s Technical Center.

-Colorless liquid provides easy colorability
-Acts to improve melt flow of host resin
-Outstanding thermal stability
-Excellent hydrolytic stability for sensitive applications like PC (polycarbonate)
-Low migration/plate-out tendency
-Relative to resorcinol diphenyl phosphate (RDP), NcendX P-30 flame retardant provides lower volatility
-Provides better thermal melt stability than RDP
-Produces less volatiles during compounding
-Lower volatility contributes to a lesser tendency to migrate out of the host polymer |
