BW-18 Boiler Treatment is a combination sludge conditioner and sulfite product used where makeup water is dependably softened and additional alkalinity is not needed.
This product is USDA G6 approved.
BW-18 reacts with the oxygen found in feedwater to form a chemical compound, thus tying up free oxygen.
By deactivating free oxygen, BW-18 prevents the localized oxygen-induced corrosion known as oxygen pitting.
BW-18 contains polymers to provide sludge conditioning as well.
