BYK-R 605 is a liquid thixotrope-enhancer, which increases hydrogen bonding when combined with hydrophilic fumed silica.
It is used in unsaturated polyester resins to improve thixotropy properties and reduce the resin separation during storage.
BYK-R 605 creates a strong thixoptropy in vinyl ester resins when used with hydrophilic fumed silica. |
